Slowly but surely, I’m making progress on my place. I put together a dresser this weekend for the closet, and got another bookshelf for the side of the loft bed, both as additional book storage and to act as a bedside table.
My kitchen looks gorgeous! It is the happiest part of my apartment right now.
I also got a cheap console table from Goodwill that I have in my hall – it looks great. Things are starting to come together!
I keep looking at this picture for inspiration on how to manage the space in my main room. It’s seriously the only picture of a loft bed that I’ve found on the internet that doesn’t look like a shitty dorm room. But copying this idea simply will not work, given the shape of my place (and the color of my furniture. I need help to figure it out. Should I have stained my bed a darker color, to match the rest of my furniture? I suppose I could still re-stain it, but I really don’t want to at this point.
