Just a quick note to say that the Georgetown pool on Volta Street is awesome. Few kids, nice clean water, and lovely chaises to stretch out on, provided you get there early. And by early I mean, before it actually opens at noon.
The only sucky part is lots of black bugs that look suspiciously like ticks – but I’m not sure what they are. Need to photo and ID them.
The other good thing is that the pool is located very close to Dolcezza which has some of the most seriously awesome gelato and sorbetto I’ve ever tasted. A perfect post-swim snack.
