Once upon a time, a bunch of drinkers who like to run decided it would be fun to have a big party where everyone dresses in red and runs around D.C. They decided that this fine event would take place in the month of October and much merriment would be had.
The dawn of the Red Dress run approached as sun rose on the Seventh Day of October. Men and women alike put on red dresses, red lipstick, and old running shoes. They filled their beer mugs time after time, and it was good.
